The first book that Murray wrote was a long time in the making. It started with letters and progressed into an adventure he could never forget. Exploring the places that the stories were written and learning more about the person that wrote them. Murray was really passionate and invested in the story and you could hear it in his voice during the chat.

It is a small world at times. You meet people who know people from other aspects of their/your life. This was the case with Gaye. Turns out she is well acquainted with my Mum and I was known as Selva's Daughter. It has been a while since I have been called as that. The spiritual element that Gaye shares within her stories aligns with the peaceful existence I grew up with and what she talks about in her stories.

I was so excited to talk to Heather, not only because she is an incredible creative, but because she one of the squires for the Otherworldly Emergence Speculative Fiction Novella Series. I am content to admit that I am a bit of a chocaholic. I can't really eat as much as I would have when I was younger... the minute on the lips saying seems to be literal after 40. So when I saw a book with Chocolate in large print it was like a homing beacon. Then seeing the title, I'd rather eat chocolate I was instantly curious. But there are secret depth hidden within the tale. It is certainly worth having a look.

The first time I saw a show about a Tattoo that took control of someone, it was when I was much younger and watching the X-files. I have since read several different narratives that had explored this topic in their own unique way and David has really levelled up with his approach. Who would have thought you could incorporate a beer can into a raffle? Pete made sure that he published his collection of short stories 'Read my shorts' before the Indie Author Book Fair so that he could bring it along to the event. Small items from within the short stories were culminated into a raffle that he utilised on the day as an incentive to sign up for his email. I thought it was brilliant.
