----- PODCAST
Finding Elara
Finding Elara is a safe space where Authors Artists and Creatives share their worldbuilding style and mindfulness strategies.

Elara is one of the many worlds created for Dianna's fantasy stories. It is ever changing and evolving with time. After completing 5 novel drafts in different worlds Dianna realized that it was only the start of her journey! Because not only is writing a book difficult; you also need to find a work/life balance and build a world that is not only believable, but immersive and engaging to the readers. Both of these things take time, practice and an open mind to keep learning. Throughout this podcast series Dianna aims to learn from the podcast guests, keeping an open mind to different strategies and tips. In the worldbuilding episodes she will reveal any challenges she has to face along the way. Elara is her world, but listening to the show and learning from the guests may help you find your world.

That is not an easy question to answer and after over 100 episodes there is always something new to learn. Strictly speaking Creative worldbuilding is the process of constructing a detailed, imaginary universe—including its geography, history, cultures, and rules—to provide a coherent, immersive, and often fantastical framework for storytelling. It goes beyond mere setting to create an unseen "iceberg" of context that supports characters and plot, essential in literature, gaming, and media.
But what does that really mean? How do you create worlds that people can lose themselves in? How can you immerse someone in your story so that 'just one more chapter' goes without saying.
Just like worldbuilding, where everyone has a different perspective of what it means. The way people perceive creative mindfulness is different. Sometimes people think it is work life balance and others think it is deep meditation. Then there are people that are somewhere in the middle. After more that 100 episodes, Dianna is still learning new tips and tricks about what mindfulness means to people and how it impacts peoples creative lives.
