Starting Season Three of Finding Elara

Some people have asked what the plans are for 2026. In the first episode of Finding Elara Season three, I talk about the plans and ambitions for the year. There is quite a bit planned for the show and in general for the year ahead. I broke it down into different segments on the episode. What is happening with the Pod, my business, family and my personal writing.

I am open and honest in the episode. Only time will tell if I achieve all of these things throughout the year or if I was a little too optimistic.

New thumbprint!

I thought that it was worth a tweaking the colour because I had used the yellow for two seasons at this point. The green is metallic looking as if the frame is precious. I like the effect.

The masks aligns with most of the interviews that I have in the season. I started it last season, where one of the characters comes to visit and then they go to a ball in Elara. I didn't stick with it the whole time. I have noticed that it depends on the Author. Some are very open to the idea of the Larp (Live action role play) and other struggle to verbalise immediately what is happening in their brilliant brain.

I think what I like most about the LARP situations in the show is that it is brutally honest and open. The creators are expressing themselves in a way that they wouldn't normally have the opportunity to. I certainly haven't heard it in the other show that I listen to. It is like listening to a first draft. What it really looks like for the author and how they self edit as they go along. Some people warm up to it and some struggle to harness the levity the situation offers. Neither reaction is right or wrong. It is all about the creative process.

Mind you, I preface each of these scenarios, that because this is an audio only show, I want to share with the listeners what area they are working in. This sometimes falls flat and sometimes it comes to life in the spoken word. I really enjoy it and I hope that everyone who listens does too. The responses I have been hearing are good, plus it is a glimpse into Elara.

The Slogan is staying the same

I am still separating the interviews into two. One with focus on mindfulness and one with a focus on worldbuilding. I find that when I look back on the listens there are a variance between the listenership of each. I don't know if it is because some listeners don't realise that the interviews are split into two, or if they have a preference. That would be interesting to learn. I have put a poll in the finding Elara Facebook group and we will have to wait and see what that looks like.

If you would like to more about my thoughts, give season three episode 1 a listen.
