In a small town riddled with secrets, a young woman’s dormant were-beast DNA awakens at the touch of a vampire, igniting a horror-filled journey of love, betrayal and destiny. Can they outwit a reaper obsessed with unravelling their love?

One dormant were-beast. One ancient vampire. One touch of a powerful amulet.

Maude Jenkins enjoys her inconspicuous life as the local veterinarian, but the arrival of a centuries-old vampire turns her world upside down.

Justice Black didn't intend to awaken the were-beast within Maude, neither does he intend to obey his maker's demand. Resisting the order to enslave Maude might cost him his life, but he's willing to risk it for her.

A covetous reaper, vampire hunters, and an immortal council close in on the pair. Can Maude rise as the Mother of Beasts in time to secure their freedom?
